Much of this bike tour takes place either in a bike lane or the mellow neighborhood backstreets – we do sometimes have to ride alongside automobile traffic which is dictated by the decisions of the DOT, not us.
That said, please ensure that all participants in your group can indeed ride a bike and is confident in doing so.

The best way to experience NOLA!
This was my second time with free wheeling. I went back in 2015 on a trip through NOLA and of all the things my family and I did, it was the only thing I still remember vividly because it was so fun. My family and I did the pedal bike tour in 2015, but this time I did the electric bike tour with my husband. Both tours are so fun and informative! Our guide knew so much about NOLA and you could see he really loved his city. This is definitely worth it! If I’m ever back in NOLA I would definitely do this tour again!

We took a tour with Teddy back in 2019 and loved it so much we came back and brought our friends! What I appreciate most is getting a tour of the city from someone who is not only local, but who clearly has such meaningful ties to his city and everyone in it. His storytelling style is so easy and unique. There no cheese or sugarcoating going on. It’s just a very cool, very straightforward history lesson and our group enjoyed every second. The ride itself was fun, comfortable, and extremely safe which allowed us to soak in the information he shared with us at each turn. Teddy is clearly known and loved around town and it was pretty cool getting to see New Orleans through his eyes. Can’t wait to come back and ride with him again

It ended up just being my boyfriend and myself on the tour, it was so much fun! Teddy was our guide - WHAT A REAL ONE!! Super cool dude, super knowledgeable as he is and has been a local in the area his whole life, doing the tour for 13 years and really knows his stuff. We had a blast, a lot more fun than we expected for sure.
